OKLAHOMA
It sounded like a train,
Hurtling down the track,
Next all you could hear was silence,
Then everything went black,
I opened up my eyes,
It looked like hell on earth,
People's homes had disappeared,
Some had lived there since their birth,
Several schools demolished,
Innocent lives are lost,
Everyone's world turned upside down,
Plus the financial cost,
No one can imagine,
What Oklahoma has been through,
But our thoughts and prayers,
Are with everyone of you,
It is hard to see right now,
But the sun will sine once more,
And everyone in your community,
Will be so much stronger than before,
So take as much time as you need,
To help deal with your pain,
For the storm will soon be over,
And the sun will shine again,
Never lose your courage,
And you will find the strength to cope,
Tomorrow is a brand new day,
And it always brings new hope!
